Stock Availability
Stock availability shown on our website is updated daily. We are normally in stock of all our products. In the unlikely event that you order something that is out of stock, we will inform you promptly by email when you can expect your goods.

Ordering and Payment
Browse our website for the product you wish to purchase then click "Add to Cart" you will then proceed to the "Welcome, Please Sign" page. By creating an account at Skyline Technology you will be able to shop faster, be up to date on an orders status, and keep track of the orders you have previously made.

Review your shopping basket and make any changes you want. Complete the payment and delivery details requested. You will receive an electronic receipt (by email) with an order reference number allowing you to track your order online by contacting us. Security
We recognise the importance of security when ordering online. Our credit & debit card processing facility is hosted with HSBC Secure ePayments, utilising industry-standard Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts all your personal information and credit card details into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet.

Order Tracking
When you have placed your order you will be given an order reference number. An order confirmation will also be sent to you by email. To track your order please login into your account with your email address and password, the order status will be displayed.
When your goods are dispatched you will receive an email update detailing the items despatched, the carrier used and their tracking reference.You can then track the delivery process via the carriers website using their tracking reference number.

Delivery Information

How much does it cost?

£2.99 - Certain low cost items (under £9.99) will be dispatched via Royal Mail and delivery charges will be reduced accordingly for reasons of viability. These orders can take up to 3 working days for delivery. Method of delivery will be e-mailed to you on dispatch.

£14.99 - Larger, more valuable items (over £9.99) will be sent by Recorded Delivery/Courier We Deliver to UK mainland addresses (including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands & Eire). £9.99 - European delivery may be arranged by prior agreement
Please note that we do not deduct VAT for any orders to the Channel Islands.

How long does it take?

Items ordered on any business day (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays should be delivered within 3 business days (excluding Saturday), anytime up to 5.30pm. Although our standard delivery charge does not provide for next day delivery, every effort is made by ourselves & the couriers to achieve this.

Orders addressed within the UK mainland are sent by Royal Mail/Courier Service, you must arrange for someone at your address to be in and sign for the parcel on the expected delivery date. Where a parcel cannot be delivered, (e.g. no-one at home), you will be notified by Royal Mail/DHL/Parcel Force with a card notice and telephone number to call to arrange re-delivery. The courier will only attempt one re-delivery, thereafter you willl be required to collect your parcel from the collection depot within 7 days. Returns
Our aim is total customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will exchange or refund any purchase. Please return it to us within 7 days following the guidlines below.

Before returning any item to Skyline Technology, please email support@skyline-technology.co.uk requesting a returns authorisation form. This will be emailed back to you along with our Return Address, please do not return items without prior authorisation.

The product is unwanted

1. We must be informed within 7 days of dispatch date.
2. The item must be in a completely resalable condition. The product must be returned complete with all parts; such as box, leads/cables, remote controls, batteries, stands, manuals etc.
3. The item itself must be returned within 7 days of receiving a final authorisation from us.
4. The item must be returned via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by courier. We recommend returning an item recorded/insured delivery as we are not responsible for any item lost in transit.
5. Product refunds for unwanted goods will not include original postage costs we have incurred and we have to deduct a further 10% restock fee from your original purchase price.

Goods arrived damaged or faulty

1. You must inform us within 48 hours of receiving the goods (preferably on the same day)
2. If we are not informed within 48 hours of receipt of your goods, you will have to incur the return postage charge for this service.
3. The item itself must be returned within 7 days of receiving authorisation from us.
4. Once the item is received by us we will test the product for faults, if a fault is found we will return to the manufacturer and offer a replacement or refund.

Incorrect item received

1. You must inform us within 48 hours of receiving the goods (preferably on the same day).
2. The item must be in a completely resalable condition. This means that the packaging is completely undamaged, original seals have not been broken and the item has not been used at all.
3. The item can be returned using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and we will refund the cost of return or by Courier (for items over 5kg only). We can arrange courier collections for you at no cost.
5. The item itself must be returned within 7 days of receiving authorisation from us.
6. Once the item is received by us we will dispatch the correct one to you.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations we are obliged to action a refund within 30 days of written request being received. However as a customer focused organisation we will aim to refund sooner.

If you have decided to cancel your order or wish to return your products to Skyline Technology we will refund your credit card within 30 days of written cancellation being received. Our customer service department will be happy to advise you if you have any further queries or questions in relation to our return policy.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use information given at the time of ordering or when making an enquiry by whatever means is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We only use the personal information you provide for processing your current order, when you complete your order you can choose to receive our occasional email newsletters (the default is not to receive them). You can easily remove yourself from this list at any time.

Terms and Conditions

Prices
All prices are listed in Pounds Sterling (£GBP). For international orders, your payment card provider will take payment in your local currency at the current exchange rate.

Orders are subject to acceptance by the company and to availability of goods and will be charged at the prices ruling at the time of acceptance. Delivery costs will be those as quoted at the time of acceptance of the order.

The price of the Goods shall be the price quoted by us on our website, we reserve the right to amend any display error or omission to prices. The price is inclusive of any payable value added tax in the UK and postage and packaging detailed once delivery serivces have been chosen.

Delivery
Orders are sent by recorded delivery and are insured in the event of loss. Deliveries for larger items can be tracked via the carrier web site. If goods are in stock, it is our intention to deliver to you within 3 working days. If goods are out of stock then we will endeavour to deliver within 30 days or you have the right to cancel the order.

Cancellation
You have a right to cancel within 7 working days of receiving the order. If the cancellation comes about because the goods are not suitable then you will need to pay the cost of the return postage.
If the goods are faulty or are not exactly as described then you have the right to request a refund of the return postage as well as a refund or an exchange of the goods. Skyline Technology reserve the right to cancel any order at any time.

Returns & Replacement Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the order to us in original condition* within 7 days of delivery. We will issue a refund on receipt, or exchange the item if faulty. However delivery charges are only refundable if you have cancelled your order before dispatch or when the goods are found to be faulty.

Complaints
It is our express intention to deal with your complaints confidentially, fairly and speedily. Please let us know of any complaint within 7 working days if at all possible. If you have a complaint or any other query please advise us in the first instance by e-mail to support@skyline-technology.co.uk We will hopefully resolve the complaint and we will do that within 5 working days. We will keep you informed by telephone or e-mail as to what progress is being made in the resolution of the complaint.
